Mistress’s Another attempt at an old fashion idea

wolf tymez KNYTES SCROLL HEDDER_thumb

First I hate greed, especially in what is supposed to be FREE TV networks, but I’ll cover that in a few laps here.

I watched this series on Hulu since that’s the only TV I can get without a major loan from the powers that be to get either Dish, or cable. Cable is out since AllWest does not think its worth their time or money to run the cable around the corner here. But I have done a quick survey, if it were here, everyone in the complex would subscribe, going to dig into it even deeper later.

So then back on topic, was watching this series that has Melissa Millano in it that gives some glimpses of when Mylissa was a teen in such films as Crash Course and of course Who’s the Boss.

Of course the hiding behind her hands as she weeps a a rendering back to Crash Course, which I loved that movie, Mostly for the pink/yellow tow trucks.

Not to be outdone think that ABC and Hulu, could be a bit more lenient to give us a few more episodes before charging us. The idea, of Hulu was to give us FREE access to one of a streaming video content. Supported by advertisers. My opinion if I have to pay for the video content there best not be one damn ad on there or that bunch in San Diego California where Hulu makes its home is going to get more than a phone call, more like a up close visit.

ABC is no slouch here. Having the near worst ratings of all with few anchor shows, you’d think giving us more FREE content would be a good idea. Nope, ABC as CBS and soon NBC is beginning charging albeit reasonable, but still charging for viewers. Hell even Disney Channel makes you pay to watch, especially if you can’t get access to a TV or TV cable channel signal, like I am in here in Evanston. Sure in town good , have AllWest, out in the sticks no, but why. If your already at the corner AllWest, come into the trailer park we need you here.

Theses networks are wanting us to pay prime money for old style or plotted shows, and yet few if any networks especially broadcast networks are producing anything new or different to watch , let alone pay to watch.

Now this next bit, might get a few TV station and network execs to come unglued, but it must be said and the Knytes are doing more than lip service.

The Rural side of America, unlike their city counterparts do not have decent media or worthy media access. Face it, from full broadband Internet, to decent FREE TV, the rural parts of America are just screwed. Sure there is Satellite, like DirecTV and Dish. The latter I might try if I stay here long enough to make that viable. But Rural America, where 80% of our food and fiber is produced is being punished by little to decent access to video, audio(Radio) signals/media. Something that needs to change. Who’s the blocking force? Not the other broadcasters, its mostly the FCC. Who are they trying to protect? Clearly the big spectrum land signal grab for a free broadband network proposed 5 years ago never took place likewise most likely wont. But many in TV like analog TV stations lost their jobs as analog stations went dark. The few that stayed active have to change to digital, and the reason why? No body knows. You can’t get a straight answer out of either the NAB or the FCC. The industry is hush on the subject.

Was this a behind the door, mistress enhanced gig to sell more TV’s a few years ago? Okay the idea of booking ad time from the local seed , feed, and farm store, is not as romantic as the gazillion bucks that TV stations get for booking ad space from Costco. But what is Rural America supposed to do. Why has even the big TV stations, besides green greed, decided that pursuing markets in say here in Evanston Wyoming, is not as attractive as bagging game at say Zales Jewelry in Salt Lake City, but when those working at Zales Jewelry get hungry and go for a steak, they forget that the Rural people that the TV station forget, or don’t care much for produced the hay, and gave birth to the calf that became the steer that they are now going to consume as that steak.

To this end the Knytes-of-Anarchy, is launching the Rural TV Coalition, meant to thwart the constantly being ignored by TV from big city TV stations and even mid sized TV cable/satellite providers. By creating a Internet Protocol TV station that will be the back bone to a shortwave TV network providing news etc to those media challenged in the Rural West and rural America.

Rural people are going to be the ones first killed in a natural emergency or domestic military assault. Why? We won’t know what the hell is going on, until its on our door step and too late for us to do anything. It’s for damn sure KSL or KTVX is not going to open a bearuea here, even if they did who would see it? But a new station albeit LPTV would be better than what is here now. It’s time to start talking to these new political types we just elected, find a few headed to the FCC committees, and get some ideas going to open filing windows, and free up some air space put it back into analog form, so that Grandpa Jones on his old Victrola TV with the rabbit ears can once again see HeeHaw on TV without having to put up a 100 foot antenna, and buy a digital TV.

As for Mistress’s the TV show its good, but I’d get off on somebody taking Concrete Blondes and turning that into a TV series.
